Totally agree.
l aspire to smartarse perfection myself.
Had a friend who always complained of being tired and needed a sit down.
l got a mobility scooter company to send her all the guff on their products along with explaining the benefits of owning one.
Man she was not happy. l did fess up after a while but l did get good milage out of it.

I had fluffy dice air fresheners on my Bonnie, it helped when riding past dairy farms...

I often rode by this skinner (and what ever else they did there) place. There were hundreds of skins "freshly" processed with the subskin parts in a container. During hot summers btw. I doubt it would have helped placing the air freshener in the helmet. Solution was to be aware where the wind was coming from and holding your breath at the right time for a few hundred meters. I think that their guard dog believed he was in paradise.

I used to repair phones in the poor areas of Cardiff, some were very ummm ripe smelling houses - the answer was Vicks vapour rub under each nostril

I wish I'd thought of the Vicks trick a few times when I worked for Hotpoint. I remember servicing a washing machine somewhere in Newport. The womans house was overrun with cats. The smell upon entering said property had me wretching

We have a mushroom factory on the way to Beaudesert from Brisbane. Holding your breath to avoid the smell requires good timing
