I used to love the aircraft shots from Tigger on the old org. There's an area in Wales? where the military do exercises through the hills so it's a great place for some action photo's & I saved a few. I hope it's OK to show a couple of Tiggers shots.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Its around the Elan valley in Wales - frightens the life out of you as they fly pass - you can actually see the pilots faces quite clearly as they fly so low  :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Peter Jones was the guy, Mach Loop is the circuit they do, I'm sure he had a pic and the guy in the rear seat was giving Peter the thumbs up of course he captured the shot perfectly

I really must pay the Mach Loop a visit with the cameras.

If anyone is interested, this site gives flying times at the above venue :onya:

Not as good as the other photos on this thread but here's some of my favourite pics I've taken with my Canon 77D. Only been using a dslr for 3 years so not great with it atm.

Your underestimating yourself Mike - very good!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Speedy1959

I took this photo about 30 years ago of a "Joseph Klotz" violin date around 1770

Worth a fortune now (Over £100k !!).

@Speedy1959  Just saw an interview with Anne-Sophie Mutter (4 x Grammy winner). She plays on a Strativari.

On the old Org was a member Tigger (Pete Jones) who lived very close to the Mach Loop site and was a very keen amateur photographer, some of the pics that he posted were very impressive to the point where he had close up's of the Pilots giving the thumbs up as clear as day

gsxbarmy

I remember Tigger........posted some awesome photos
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Maybe not as exciting as the Plane photo's which has put the thought into my head to go to Wales and take photo's of the jets on the Mach loop.
As the second photo shows bikes getting airborne at another mountain. This time the famous one at Cadwell park during British Superbike weekend. Josh Brookes (Aussie) leads Danny Buchan over the top. The Honda is Xavi Fores. The other is Fastest man ever around the TT Peter Hickman.
