All years are the same size .

Earlier shocks ( upto and including k4) have silver springs.

The later shocks ( k5 onwards) have red springs.

They modified the later shocks to try and fix the preload adjuster that lock up or leak over time.

Other bikes shocks that fit are yamaha xjr range with the1300 so being best of them (ohlins badged but very low spec 8n little adjustment) but are slightly shorter than Suzuki shocks.

Not sure that other standard bike shocks fit .

There is a large choice of aftermarket shocks commonly the best at reasonable cost are hagon nitro's but if you want high spec then there is a lot of choice but it costs.

What's wrong with your shocks as they can be repaired/refurbed.

If you have the Center stand fitted on your bike it's very easy and straightforward to replace the shocks (4bolts to remove and refit just block the back wheel to keep them at same hight while changing them) .

As @Andre says do you have s link for what your wanting to fit to your bike.

only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Shovel was to make it nice and easy to lift the rear wheel up by getting it under it and lifting the wheel  :onya:
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement
