That one needs to be in a museum. I know if I bought it I'd put it on a stand in the house & never ride it.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

So's mine, does that make my 14 worth £8k?

I know which one would shit itself & need loads of bearings & gaskets replacing if you tried to use it as a bike.

Chrisl

£8k !

IMHO in looked like the engine side casings had been painted so not 100% original, I was there looking at a Gsxr1100 with 4701miles on it, again completely original apart from having the rear shocker fixed recently. Couldn't agree a deal so it's still there.

There are some lovely bikes out there,if only I could find one before a dealer gets involved !,

Well....what they want and what someone will pay are 2 entirely different things. Can't say how good or bad it is from the pictures, but I think it odd it has a tank pad on it with that low mileage. Whilst the GSX1400 is a great bike, it's never going to be one of the classics like the z900 or CB750, so I think 8K is a bit hopeful
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Mister Fishfinger

It took me less than a minute of Googling to find a Z900RS for sale with 0 miles for £8999. It's a similarly retro styled bike, but a much more modern design and it'll have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty, plus tyres that haven't degenerated to the consistency of Bakelite.

I know where my money would go. I love my 14, but I'm not going to delude myself that it's a classic.

Tony Nitrous

Some folk would want a cheaper 14,
some folk would want a more modern / performance bike for that money.
If your cashed up and set on a 14 that's one of the better ones.

For that sort of price I'd be riding home on a very tidy Hayabusa and I'm happy to bet that my £1,465  GSX14 would out perform it in every way except cosmetics.  Originality and showroom condition is great if your not interested in riding.

I wouldn't pay it, but the bloke who would might laugh at what I spend on other bikes.

KiwiCol

As you say Tony, each to their own.
