One of my mates has a machine shop, spoke to him today, I'm going to visit him tomorrow and see what prices we are looking at, now these ones I have are to suit 100kg rider (I'm a bit more than that) but I take it if they are longer then the preload would be higher, now I'm supposing the ones I have are going to sit at 3rings equivalent so if 8mm longer then 6 rings? If this works I'm willing to get some made for us at cost, hell I'll even post them, but want to try them out 1st

If be very interested in a couple of sets if your mate comes up with a good price .
I'm sure they will be a few others here interested too.
Cheers

I have personally 'saved' a couple of pairs of shocks, on one the hydraulics were completely shot, so rather than bin them ( I hate doing that ) I modified by removing ALL hyd stuff & cobbled up the old-fashioned tried & tested cam-ring, works a treat, & to those not in the know, looks standard!!
On another set, they were dis-assembled replacement bits made & they too, were 'saved'
I did, however, find them 'awkward' to say the least.

My rear shock also have a little leak. Very little but it isn't dry...

I woundering ... my OEM shocks was rebuild 3 years ago. And now - rebuild it again or buy YSS or Hagon Nitros?
Olny this three options because of price - don't have for Wilbers, Nitron or Ohlins  :embarrassed:
