Red hot

One of my 14s has a full stainless exhaust system, (Venom) read LOUD!!
I needed to get at something right at the back of the garage this morning so 3 bikes required 'oiking' out, the last was the 14 with the stainless pipes etc. So I thought i'd sit on & fire her up, ( I have 10 now & don't ride any of them nowadays) BAM! instant running lovely, so I set on the centre stand & just let it run on tickover for around 5 mins or so, now since all this was at the back of the garage & in semi-dark-ish, I noticed a red glow, WTF, ALL 4 downpipes were glowing red for about the top 100mm or so, I fully realize that the stainless jobbies are single skinned & there was no airflow etc, but red hot on tickover??  Runs perfect, not rich or weak, just right, so maybe some of you guys with a similar setup wouldn't mind trying similar, & seeing if yours glow as well, maybe they ALL do it & we never notice in daylight.
