Well its been a long old day..
Set off for bonny Scotland at 6.30 and met up with Bob...
In case some of you hadn't guessed, I did a deal with Bob with my Honda CB1300
Its a deal we are both happy with..
I must admit its a bit nerve racking unloading a GSX from a trailer then reloading a CB1300..
Anyway it all went without any mishaps.
Thankfully the rains stayed away..In fact it turned out to be a gorgeous day!

This photo was taken on my way back near Tebay...
I decided to leave the motorway at Tebay and go a scenic way the rest of the way home..
In fact so invigorated was I that I went to Devils Bridge for a brew and natter (For those of you who dont know Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale, its a very well known Bikers meetup venue)..
After that I went to another Bikers meetup place called Caton...
And if that wasnt enough I then went to yet another popular venue called Glasson Dock (where I met our new member Poultonian)..

Its very good to be back in an official capacity.

I must have had a brain malfunction when I sold her..

So looks like Sophie has no new tattoos, piercings or make up after her time away.
Sounds like you are very pleased to see her home.
Enjoy  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Blubber

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Sweaty

She's looking great  :onya:
I think you were just trying to show her off to as many people as you could on the trip home, and why wouldn't you.

Superb bike mate. Looks unreal. Polished grab rail would be better. Just my opinion.

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Speedy1959

Thanks to you all for your input..

I've removed the hand guards now its supposedly summer !

I dont particularly like the look of them but they sure do make a difference in keeping wind chill at bay in Winter..

GSXKING

@Speedy1959 What does summer look like in UK ?  :whatever: :whatever:

I have visited in London (Tilbury docks) 40-50 times and I haven't seen famous British rain there.
