I rarely lose one, but at work it's not unusual for 8 or 9 of us to use one at the same time.

A new hat, looks great with a dark visor.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

@mjgt that looks great
With a black visor it'll be stunning.
I wish but when the chaser v came out arai changed the shell shape and now they don't fit me anymore so I have shoei's now .
Used to really like my arai's too.
Be interested to see it with the dark visor fitted .

Chaser x is an odd one for Arai, same as the rebel but all the others still have the traditional Arai fit, chaser x does not fit me either.  I have tried other helmets in a bid to save some cash but nothing fits or feels like an Arai.

Arai's are great if you have an Arai shaped head.

Shoei normally fit me personally a lot better.

I bought a 7/8" UNF tap today. Because I'm only doing 8 holes in 1020 BMS instead of a $132 HSS one I thought a Suttons carbon one at $45 would do and I doubt it would be used again.

I'm tapping through holes 60mm long so it looks like the $45 tap has cost me $1.00 for every millimetre of it's life because that's how far it got ... 45 bloody mm.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

KiwiCol

Not quite a hole then . . .  best you spend the bux & get a decent one, you might get 2 holes out of it.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Today i bought nothing really, yeah, i got some beer, weekend sustenance. Lots of footy to watch, need my energy. What i did see today was a perfect stock standard FE. just perfect. I left a note on it , just in case he wants to sell. Looked like its done 100ks. Not thousands, just 100. Very nice. Those bazookas are very big in real life.

I've been selling off most of an R1 I bought - mate needed the engine clock loom and ECU for a Kit Car so I took the rest for £800.00 so far I'm nearly £2K up so I treated myself to new rear sprocket and some titanium bolts

and a gallon of muriatic acid and a gallon of Acetone - I will get the bandit tank clean  - carbs got 4th strip and rebuild yesterday . . . .

GSX14's battery is getting lazy. Starting to worry me that it going to leave me stranded one day soon now it's a bit cooler here. A combination of a cheap battery being a few years old, and me being lazy and not trickle charging it occasionally if it's not used.

I was thinking I really should get a new one.... then on a regular Facebook market place browsing moment I spot a brand new one 10 minutes from home for $50, £27.  They are a fairly big battery.

Guys story was he ordered 1, waited and waited, nothing turned up, he complained, 2 turned up.

Just chucked it on.
12.6v showing with the ignition / lights on engine off.
13.6 showing with the engine running.
Turned it off and left it on trickle charge.

It's not the higher CCA one you mentioned but it was too cheap to ignore.
