Looking at the thread here  http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=429.0
and having for the first time had an F1 error, I thought "Well that's easy I know how to get the fault codes"

Only I can't find the relevant plug which (for my K7) ought to be
Quotea white multi plug with a black rubber cap, the plug has four wires, with the following colours â€"
1) Black with White tracer
2) White with Red tracer
3) Orange with Green tracer
4) Grey with red Tracer.

These are the only plugs "located in the battery/ECU area"

A black plug with a plastic cap, and the cap is hand-marked though I'm  not sure exactly what those markings mean.

The other, white multiplug has a matching socket and so seems an unlikely candidate, however I note that there is a black rubber cap there available, in the event that nothing is plugged in.

:confused1:

So.. if anyone can help that's be great... :D

OK so I know it's not the yellow one (though I don't know what it is so would appreciate a heads-up on that).
But it is the other one? I'm not so sure....

Snapey

The previous owner has plugged something in to the plug you want Michael .... his own test tool maybe.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

It's this one @VladTepes  :onya:

It usually has a black rubber cover over it. It's near the battery.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!
