$17250 Oz hard earned, is that just a dream or will it be payed?

Tony Nitrous

It is nice though.

If you want a brand new one, there aren't any, what price the next best thing ?

I wouldn't pay it, but someone else might.

Anyone got a better one for sale, less miles, not butchered, no tasteless bling, no corrosion, not restored ?
.

froudy

It's a crazy price, but I guess if someone wants one badly enough then they'll pay it...
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Bob

It is dear but if I had a lottery win I'd buy it just to look at unless I could get a brand new unregistered K2

gsxbarmy

Yes - new member on here (Thumper) who has just bought it because he missed his first one - just posted on here recently - and then is selling again? Yes I'm confused too......

Here's another fine example  to add to the collection

£8,200 isn't too bad for number 2 of 10 made.  It's different to a normal 14, gotta be worth more than a std one.  Bet Barmys' eyeing it up as an investment.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

No Barmy isn't! I think it way too over-priced, nothing really special about it and no real difference to what others do in fitting cams, an Akra and decent rear shocks.

Another one of these limited editions was being punted about Ebay, last summer. number 10 I think. Cannot remember the figure though...

Some sellers have an over inflated idea of what these bikes are worth, maybe reality will set in sometime. IMO whilst the GSX1400 is an outstanding machine and very robust, it will never be a classic or a collectible in the way that other machines such as Honda CB750's, Kawasaki Z900's, Suzuki GT750's, etc have become. Problem is that some of these guys listen to the crap spouted on places like Facebook about how much things are worth and/or see a few advertised that price and think theirs is better (of course they never check to see if it sold at that price). And of course the ones spouting that rubbish would never ever pay the sort of price they are suggesting.

Ye its the same old story what you think its worth and what you get are two different things ! ...... if you notice and ive watched a few go on eBay , and they seem to go for between £2200 for an old high milage one too £3750 for a late low milage one and they seem to sell well at those price points .
But the over the top priced ones and the rough ones hang around for years and just dont sell , there's loads been for sale for over a year just to exspensive with folk trying to pull the classic card !
i intend to live for ever or die trying !!
