Hi all,

Can anyone reccomend a good mount to go in the stock handle bars?

Looking at a ram xgrip but unsure where to mount it other than smack in between the handlebar clamps

Thankyou

I'm using ram mount x-grip on my bike and my car. And I'm quite satisfied with it.
On 14, as a base, I'm having 1'' ball mounted with handlebar riser clamp bolt.

Looks promising, where would you find such a bolt with the ram head?

I put my phone safely in an inside zipped pocket and connect to my lid with Bluetooth...
I lost one on the motorway, so consider it safer

I use a case, mount and charger from ultimateaddons with the OmAnd+app on my phone so it sits between the clocks on the handlebars.
They do loads of options

Just a thought, if you're going to use the GPS on your phone for a long trip, you'd better install a power outlet for it to plug into whilst using it, the GPS function really chews through the battery.

I use a tom tom scooter sat nav that works from an App on my iPhone - downside is that loose the mobile mast you loose your sat nav so a pain when riding outside civilisation - as Steve says rather not have my iPhone on a holder where it can fall onto the road best in my inside pocket :)
