Back in the day we had a bike shop in thame called RF Seymours. He was an old school mechanic and racer ,in his showroom he had all his vintage bikes he had won races on at the Isle of Man. Any way the reason for this post is many moons ago two lads came in and ordered two Ariel square fours, paid their deposits. They were duly ordered and in those days the  bikes were  packed into crates un assembled and shipped to the dealer for assembly . The two lads for some reason or another never picked them up and there they stayed at Seymours . The family retired from the business and took them with them back to the Isle of Man and as far as I know they are still in their original packing crates, what they are worth now is anybody's guess. I think they qualify as "new old bikes"

USD $50K  that's a shit ton of money for any bike. Too much indeed.

Two square fours? Epic. When the rear cylinders overheat and kill the engine you have a spare bike to ride while rebuilding the first one...

I will put that V-Max in the category of love em or hate em. I was never a fan of the styling, but I fell in love with a B-King at first sight LOL.
