This is what I've been after  :boogie: brush and whatever chemical Ive tried wont clean the baked goods. Went to purchase but can't send flammables to my address.. Will have to see about getting a shop to order in.

I still see no photographic evidence of a black engine....

I seem to remember this product being pretty successful from the old Org, but yes.. is a good excuse to ask for some clean engine porn

The description does read the same - so it probably is. At that price, worth a try I'd say
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Very Interested in this product (or others like it).
Especially with the misting spray nozzle.

I have tried pressure can VHT Barrel Black paint (there are similar VHT can's), yeah OK but difficult to apply within fins etc as a smooth layer.

Would like to see photos of someone who has used the products described above.

Hi Dog,
I've used plasticote BBQ paint and I would highly recommend it, easy to apply and very forgiving. I did mine a couple of thousand miles ago and so far holding up perfectly.
I've done link and down pipes as well as the engine. Some Black  vht paint can look grey but this is a good Black 👍

Looks good Red.

I've attached a photo of the engine block with the VHT paint job as well as the triple clamps. I'm happy but was easy to get to all corners.

But the engine head is filled with difficult spaces around the spark plugs and inlets and exhaust ports. I've tried one with the VHT spray but f*#ked it up. The photo shows it stripped back to basic condition again for take two. I don't want to strip it back again (fiddly and painful job).

That's why I was interested in the misting spray nozzle.

Ah, you are doing a proper job! I didnt remove the lump, just down pipes for access, the Plasti cote does have a filter nozzle though as here:

Cheers
