I think with our short service intervals(4000 miles).
That any good quality oil filter is good .
I like the idea of the k&n's with the nut on it especially for people that don't have the correct oil filter tool.
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Race Performance filter has a nut on the end like K&N.

Part number RP138 for the GSX1400.

Available from SuperCheapAuto

This is what I come up with at SCA for the RP138. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/race-performance-race-performance-motorcycle-oil-filter---rp138/424881.html

Yeah, that's not the filter that I bought.  The one I bought is just like the standard filter.  So they must have put the wrong pic on the website

Ryco from Repco wholesale price less than $8. Dont have the nut but i have the cap tool.

T 24

Suzuki original oilfilter cost here 12€, so original filter and new oils after every 5000 km.
Oils+filter are still the cheapest way to protect your engine.

Can't remember to be honest.

They fit several of my bikes so I buy a few, and some crush washers, and O-rings to remove my oil cooler line when I'm picking other stuff up and have them sat in stock.

OEM filter at Robinsons currently on sale for £6.59

New oil and filter. Youre best friend.

Spring is on its way and then an oil/filter change on the 14 - In going trough my stock, I found a Fram PH6018 and looked up the cross reference and it says yes to a KN-138 - anyone got thoughts on this?
Cheers
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

grog

If it fits Mate, use it. Fram are quality filters.

Having the cap tool does that avoid either taking the header pipes off or oil lines etc ????   getting lazy in old age !!!!!   lol

Yes and with standard or akroprovic downpipes dead easy .
Yoshi downpipes have always made changing the filter a pain .

On the subject of oil filters as our changes are such short intervals (I change the oil filter again every oil change) any good quality one does normally a champion or hy-flo from halfords.
