Something I do quite like.

There's a small bracket that bolts onto the rear pillion peg hangers. Under the grab rail are two small slots.

The box's have 3 location points on the back of them.

Box's slot in, push forward an inch and lock.
Slide back an inch and pull off.

They are locked in place with a button and a key.
The ignition key locks them in place and opens them up.

No brackets, framework or carrying extra keys.

Congratulations Tony, your first bike with panniers just like GTR and FJR.

I'm not sure how much use the panniers will get.

I'm buying a small tail pack for daily use.

I do like the fact they fit / remove in seconds without an ugly frame.

Riding back from the dealers I kept thinking, DONT FILTER, DONT LANE SPLIT, DONT GO UP BETWEEN TRAFFIC!!! I live in the city.

Luggage will certainly be nice on overnight weekend runs though.

Most days it'll be without.

I'll get a tail pack like Rob's...

I love the panniers, use them, I kept them on the FJR but not the top box. Lane filtering you will get used to, but stay below the legal limit.

The bars may be a little low, but it's a lot easier to raise the bars than to bring another bike up to this spec.

I've done bar conversions on GSXR's and a Hayabusa. It's not a big deal.

Congratulations Tony - they are a nice bike

I explained to my wife it's a smaller bike than I've owned in years and has lots of safety features and only sensible boring bikes have luggage.

:whistling:
