Rear fairing, seat fairing

Not quite sure what to call it but is the rear plastic that is under the seat and which houses the rear tail light the same through all year models? Thanks

The rear plastic bodywork is the same part across all models and all years.
the only difference is the colour schemes they used

Had a suspicion but wanted to check.
I have an 06 but I don't like the dark blue on the tail so am going to buy a tail piece and have it painted mostly white with grey stripe to match the tank.
