I'm looking at returning my blue K6 back to std, ie taking off the dealer fit screen.  All the bits are there, so that's good, but I have no idea where the wee orange reflector goes or how it's mounted.
I've trolled through the gallery to try & find a pic with this reflector showing, to give me an approximate area where it should go, but I can't see any there.

There is a 'surplus' bracket among the bits & looks like it's a mounting bracket for this reflector I'm talking about.

Bit of a plus too, the headlight mounting pieces are billet not the OE ones (I've got OE ones back on the Black)
So, anyone able to shed some light as to where these reflectors get mounted?  Pic maybe?

Thx

Just a thought but does anyone in upside downland have any old marketing pictures or bike mags from when the gsx1400 was released down there as that should show where the reflectors went .

That's where they are on my bike, I put on a radiator cover and left them on, well didn't have to take them off.
I think people remove them to save weight and streamlining to make them go faster.

:rofl2: and so they don't look like they have an orange sticker stuck on them.

Sweety, they are put on to comply with ADR regulations, and should not be removed, rules are rules.

Thanks guys.   :onya:  The wee bracket I mentioned makes sense for fitting on the rad cover mount bolt. The sml bent bit would go in the gap of the cover to stop it moving about.

I knew they were supposed to be around there somewhere, never taken any notice as I didn't have any on the black when I got that one.

Oi Jeff, what's wrong with the Yoshi TriOval?  They were a std fit on some of these K6's.

Imagine how fast it would go if you changed that 20kg muffler

Actually Sweety I have a Staintune for it, didn't keep it on for long because it frightened me. Probably would have been good to have that it on last time we did a ride because you gave me at least 20kg extra to carry  ;)

And Col the Tri Ovals where not factory put on by dealers so those models will never fetch the price an original like mine will.
