Stainless steel exhaust cleaning

Ive seen this a few times online ECT but didn't really believe it .
So I tried it today .
Harpic power plus max10
Cleaner *(May not be available other than the uk)
I started with the 2-1 mid part of the akroprovic as it's under the motor and looked really grubby.
I covered with the harpic stuff while wearing gloves (it fizzes slightly as you apply it ) using a long nailbrush rubbing it into the hard to reach parts.
Let it sit for 15mins in a stainless steel sink(I don't know how this will react with plastic's or painted surfaces ect) .
Then I washed it well with hot water
Then tried.
I then finished with a quick rub with autosol polishing paste and a buff up.
Start to finish 30 mins and very happy now just need to do the rest of the pipes as results are impressive.

Top Tip - don't use it on the tiles in the bathroom - turned grouting blue took hours to scrub off

Yeah, ill try that. Anything that makes 14 cleaner, mates reckon i have OCD. Surely it means Of Course I Did?

Harpic works well, but I use the polishing mops method if the system is off the bike.
I did this one for a mate a couple of years ago now. Came up a treat

I took off a SBS collector - as I was sick of the sight of it minging all the time.

Next time Mrs Brush is in Asda (any supermarket will do). We got a bottle of this legendary stuff. By now the collector had been replaced by another. And it was to be offloaded on eBay. Honest - it looked like it had been dredged out of a swamp/used as a ships anchor.

10 minutes with this stuff - It came up like new. I'm amazed that some entrepreneur hasn't latched onto this stuff. You could re-brand it as "Motorcycle stainless steel cleaner". Considering it costs £2-00. In some motorcycle shops they'd charge £15-99 for the same...
