Johno

Hi Folks,

I've been around for awhile and had my GSX1400 K5 for three years.

The 1400 is my first "modern bike" as I've been riding old Suzuki's for years.

I still have my original GS1000G purchased new in 1981.

I'm a VJMC Australia member and was introduced to 1400's by an Irishman from the NSW Central Coast who is now living back there.

He probably still lurks around here.

The GSX has only 57,000 kms and goes like they all do.

The condition is average but I got it at a bargain price.

Some corrosion on the fork tubes so I will post a question about replacement tubes in the correct place on this forum.

Hope to meet up with some Aussie members and my Irish mate again in the future.

Gidday mate, nice to have you along.

An Irishman in Aus, now wonder who that could be . . .?

Welcome Johno.

Your Irish mate sounds familiar. If it's the same Irish gentleman I bought a Katana from then you have good taste in your choice of friends.

Now for something that isn't bull shit .... welcome again.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

My Irish mate is apparently riding a Bandit 1250 while his  black 1402 is hibernating on the Central coast.

He did me a favour and test rode my girl (1400) before I purchased her.

I rode the GS1000G with his1400 on a number of trips.
