Tony , that Torque stuff from Aldi is good i reckon. Their clothes get good reviews, i only have bike jeans but seem ok, had armour pockets so i got some extra. I like their leather jackets, been in cord for years but nothing like the feel of a good leather.

I have their leather jeans heavy duty and the thermal underwear all good. Pete can fill you in on the waterproof jackets.
Tony, my travel distance to work = 0  lol

Not only the jacket Jeffrey but I had the pants also. I replaced both with fishing net which kept the moisture out much better than the Aldi waterproofs.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Snapey, bet you looked good in fish net. glad i just have the jeans then, they seem ok.

I've got the jeans too Grog & they're brilliant. The jacket is probably OK too. I was talking about the "waterproof" wet weather gear.

Filled the Ute up with fuel.
It runs fine on Caltex-91.
Price is back down to $1.24 a ltr (UK 71p a ltr)

Bought some cheap extension ladders.
Only lightweight 2.4m to 3.9m for $99 but they will be fine for painting to carport and cleaning the gutters on the shed etc.

KiwiCol

Cheapest we've got (down here) for 91 is $1.99/L  Most places are selling 91 at $2.09
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Costco's 98-Premium is now $1.41,  about a UK 80p a ltr.

I go to Glossop once a month & always fill up there, being as the place is rather backwards in time it's no surprise fuel prices are to. It was £1.22 per ltr early this month.

I bought these, with a gift card my kids gave me for my birthday.

I just did my Xmas shopping.

The dog got a huge bag of his favourite pigs-ears chews, and 2 big "dental chews" that he go's mad for.

The hens got a bag of sunflower seeds, and a whole (cheap) lettuce that I know they will love, instead of the usual scraps.

I bought myself yet another old DVD I've been after. The 1947 original black and white version of Miracle on 34th Street.

I was was quite pleased with my Xmas shopping until the wife said she hopped I hadn't spent too much on her and the kids. Looks like I'm shopping again tomorrow.

I've discovered I've got £120 of nectar points to waste use. Seems time to stock up on posh Scotch as it'll be on offer too.

Isn't that Bushmills Whiskey. A mate gave me a bottle of Shirley Bassey the other day.
