Kept stalling on the way to work, was due to the sidestand cut-out, which in turn appears to be due to sidestand 'droop'.

I assume this is caused by a loose (stretched) spring.

Anyone know if these are still available?

Is it not easier (read cheaper) to remove the spring & give it a wee tighten up using a vice & a pair of pliers / vice grips?  Just curl the hooked piece a bit more, thus shortening it slightly which will hold the stand in place better.

Look after your pennies & the pounds will look after themselves,  must be a bit of haggis in me somewhere, but if you want new, yep avail.  Same part used across a few models & cheap too.

You could try bending the switch actuation tab on the side stand a bit so that it maintains switch contact...Worked fine for me :onya:

Spring is actually two springs, do you have them both fitted?

$13 for the pair from Springwood Suzuki.
