There's an old saying that applies here, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." 

If you don't want to be like a 'Roman', don't go there.   

Certain religions have their 'specific ways' & that's up to them, but if we (Christian based) folk, who drink beer & wine when they feel like it, eat pork etc when they feel like it, went to their country & started doing what we've always done, we'd probably just be shot, or at least jailed & flogged.  We'd be outraged, but that's their rules & we chose to go there.

I am officially "Church of England" i think. Been that long since i thought about it and don't care, i could be wrong  and i don't care what anyone else is or what colour they are etc.
Think this started as a Security issue of why do we have to remove our helmets when some others are unrecognisable. I always do, but if we are not allowed to ask others to remove headwear for security reasons than we should also have the option to leave our helmets on.

This is probably going to be very controversial  but i want to know why a woman pulling up for fuel is aloud to wear a berka (hood with a slot for eyes ) and i have to take my helmet off ?
Im going to claim that my crash helmet is part of my religion and it is an afront to my god ... Nitro ... to take it off 

That's the reason I refuse to remove my helmet, I am required by law to wear it.  I have once told the manager of a station that if he was not happy serving me then syphon the petrol out and I will buy from someone else as he was discriminating against bikers, he took my money and I have never bought fuel from Tesco's since.
To ask me to remove my helmet but not ask someone to remove their burka IS discrimination.

Separate to the story and just as an observation, I notice the commentary goes on about Shell whereas the picture is of a BP station - great checking by the media

It's because it's the Daily Mail, they never let facts or truth get in the way of a good bit of Racism.
