Kids today...

My two (step) kids aren't too bad.

Step Son is 21, just finishing a Uni degree in business, soon to start an internship in the city. He's worked at McDonalds to help fund 2 trips to the US to play basketball whilst he studied and arranged and swapped a term at his Brisbane Uni with one in San Jose in the USA.

Step Daughter is 23, topped her school and Uni, did a placement with the police to complete her law degree, and is now doing a 6 month extended internship as a lawyer with the United Nations War Crime Trials in Cambodia, after which she is considering practicing law in London.

I tell them it's due to the guidance of their step father... 

.... but to be honest their mum is a quite successful Lawyer and their real Dad (who lives near by) has a work history of teaching, federal police and training army reserves so they were bred from good stock and guided well before I met them!

her blisters were so bad she couldnt walk next day. raised quite a few bucks. unreal girl, takes me to footy twice a year, great seats at suncorp. just totally enjoyable.
