Last month I replaced the worn out rear brake pads with EBC (HH) pads and cleaned the pistons.
Recently the rear brake power become weak and the rear brake pedal feel obstructed.
Finally detached the right foot bracket and drop lubricate oils to the brake pedal joints. The brake power and progressive feel come back again.  :clapping:
Worth to try if you want to refresh the rear brake performance. :)

Cleaning and keeping the peddle pivots lubricated can make a massive difference to the rear brake feel and power .
I strip and clean every winter and when lubing the chain give the joints a quick spray of chain lub to keep it nice and free

I can remember having trouble with the back brake on my Duk 900ss i must av stripped it 4 times before i relised it was the peddle half sized making the brake drag ... but lesson learned !
i intend to live for ever or die trying !!

Roller, everything that moves must be lubed. my little shed has Innox, Lannox, WD40, Never Seize, Oil Can, Silicon Spray. i lube lots. good tip though mate.  :hat:

My rear brake goes "off" quite dramatically when that pivot needs lubing. I do it 3 or 4 times a year, more so in the winter.
It's a bit of a pig to do with the springs in behind it. Trying to relocate them is a right bitch at times :furious:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!
