Some time ago I saw a post on here for Smith & Allan semi synthetic bike oil..
Its made in the UK but I had never heard of it.

It's amazing value for money.

Last weekend I finally got around to trying it out.
Initial impressions are very good indeed...
I wont be paying silly money for bike oil again !

Del

I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and Yeah fairly impressed with it

Gear changes are a lot smoother - N to 1st is still like dropping an anchor into a skip but the rest are fairly smooth

the prices on a lot of there stuff is quite good as well - got 5 litres of fork oil for £29.99 and 25 litres of thinners for not much more

It  worked out a lot better to get a bulk load kept the courier cost down per item

Quite a few of us use their oil, there was a thread on it last month or so.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

mjgt you are correct.
I ordered my oil direct from them at that time..
But only got around to using it for the first time on Saturday.
I agree about the better gear change as commented on by Del.
Also the engine just feels smoother.
I think bikes communicate with riders much more than a car does.

on a slightly different note I have lately got quite a few positive comments from other bikers when they see Sophie for the first time..
Definitely for me shes one of the best all round bikes I have owned.
