Just joined the forum after buying a GSX1400. Old fart here approaching 59 that should know better, but they say you can't keep an old dog down.

Didn't intend to buy one, it just called to me while visiting a bike shop for a look about...

Once I sat on it the deal was done........so bye to my K100LT which I loathed with a passion, and hello to some serious riding again!!

It joins my collection of a Daytona 1200, RD500LC and a Norton 850 Commando.

This is definitely one of the better forums to be a member of.
I bought my 1400 after a test ride to prove to myself that I didn't want one!!
200 yards later I had signed on the dotted line.

There are a fair few members on here from your neck of the woods.
