Was out for a wee hoon 2 nights ago and rather late in the evening , and still quite a few miles from home, my pride and joy decided it didn't want to play any more . Mobile phone lying in the kitchen charging too ! Pushed the big brute 2 miles back to local town - which was fun on the uphill section - got to mates house - wasn't in !!!! Pushed it almost another mile to his birds house - mostly downhill this time - nobody home either - oh bugger ! Had enough by this time - full leathers , 20+ degrees and the sweat was running out my boots - left it tucked into her back garden and managed to get my way back home . Well it was recovered yesterday by my local bike gurus and mot man so I will have to go down today to find out what's worst with it
Wish me luck  ???

KiwiCol

That's a bugger alright!  Hope it's not serious / expensive.  Good luck.

Not being a smart arse, but you didn't happen to bump the kill switch by any chance ? That would be a nice easy fix.

Scottymac

Well the message from the people in the know is that it's fixed - not overly serious with it only being a pipe came adrift from the in tank fuel pump - only getting charged about an hours labour they tell me - so not a bad result but also not a side of the road quick fix
Cheers guys
And oh - Fnarr Fnarr !

Blubber

That's a quick fix.

What year is yours?
I ask because lately a lot of fuel pressure regulators come loose, predominantly of k2's

That's what it sounds like, regulator come adrift.  Reckon I may as well do the wire thing before it's needed, so that it's not needed.

This issue seems to be occurring for all models - first thing I think of now when I read something like this - obviously it has happened to my K7 as well!
