Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

the world is fxxxxxd, just my opinion.

This is probably due to the problem of f**kwhits criminals that throw acid in people's faces to help them steal things ECT.
Just a case of over reaction by the government not fully looking into the consequences of new laws as usual over reaction to a problem rather than dealing with the cause of it.
:furious: :frustrated:
only a slightly modified gsx1400

@seth
It's 100% guaranteed as a result of the f*ckwhit scrotes acid attacking people on the streets. The new law will make no difference whatsoever as I'm sure they don't buy batteries just so that they can use the acid to rob people. They'll just continue buying/shoplifting drain cleaner etc from their local supermarket.
As usual it'll be us..The law abiding citizens that suffer and pay the price.

Motobatt are Chinese. I bought one for my son's 250 Across couldn't crank it from brand new big volt drop on start taking out spark to plugs. They have a sneaky way of advertising on battery "Patent applied for USA" people then think that's where they are made.
I've been using Super Charge on a few bikes including 14 made in NZ, been good so far.

Another fu*&ing stealth tax imposed because of assholes, it's a good job guns are banned or we would have loads in circulation.

Because of the mono shock on mine i had to replace the battrey to a smaller unit so i have a lithium ion same width and depth just half the hight and wieghts as much as a packet of faggs i.ll stick a pic up later its got a tester on top when you push it it tells you how much charge is in it turns the 14 no problem had it a year now no problems was about 85 to 90 pounds so not alot in it

Much like gun laws, knife laws etc etc etc

Rather than look into the root cause, they just punish the 99.99999% of people happily doing the RIGHT thing.  I effin' hate it. Really winds me up.

Also I detest people who trip over their own dicks acquiescing to such bullshit and in the process legitimizing laws that make it harder for people they presume to represent. To wit, the linked article is published by "Adventure Bike Rider" website. And they end the article with:

QuoteSo, what are your thoughts on the new motorcycle battery regulations that will be coming into place this year? We reckon it's about time.

Seriously, WTF    :furious:  :furious:  :furious:  :frustrated:
Ottomans: 'Hippity hoppity, Vienna's our property"
...and then the Winged Hussars arrived.

Sealed batteries have been around for a while it was inevitable the others would be phased out.
As for lithium in motorcycles there are different results with newer and older models, it's really a suck it and see if the charging system is compatable, there are different chargers for even the household range of rechargable AA AAA etc.

Yuasa is the way to go Grog, unless you want one of those lithium jobbies?
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Speedy1959

My bike is 13 years old and on its ORIGINAL Yuasa battery !!!

I was at a Suzuki dealership on Saturday and he confirmed it was the original battery.

I think that's excellent value for money if they last even half that time !!

Mick_J

My bike is on it's original battery but my speed triple battery died earlier this year after 17 years service.  No complaints with yuasa batteries.
