Yesterday found me being driven down to London to pick up a new bike:

Much as I have loved my trips abroad on the GSX I have been eyeing up the GTR1400 for some time and this new but pre-registered one came along at the right time and the right money.

There's every chance that the GSX is now going to be retired from the big distance touring; I will miss it, but that fairing and those heated grips are going to be welcome on some days.

(Not sure if the photo is going to attach so here's a link to an external site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rynglieder/32844937766/in/dateposted-public

I tried one a couple of years ago and found it very uncomfortable.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

The one I liked was black with red strakes on the side..... just the right colours.
