eyup chaps, just been to get my led side light bulbs t10s ,now the chap who sells them reckons they would have to be "canbus type",however he wasn't 100 per cent sure so what ive done is bought both types ,normal led type and canbus type, does any body know which they need to be before I start fiddling, thanks, neil

I've only ever used ordinary (LED) ones Daytona as a replacement

These were the ones I had in my 14 - damn bright as well

eyup dave ,thanks for that mate,i have had a go at putting the canbus version in but they flicker on and off,so in went the normal led's and they are fine and like you say piercing white bright light, did the headlamp bulbs as well while at it,changed them to the blue coated xenon type which give a whiter look,

Be interested to see how you find the blue coated ones, especially at night (that is if you use yours at night of course). I swapped mine to Osram Night Racer (which essentially is the same as the Night Breaker bulbs, but allows for the slight more vibration/firmer ride from bikes) and was/am very happy with them (swapped from the Philips Xtreme bulbs which were - are - very good, but not quite so white) - so gave me the best of both worlds. But have always wondered about the Xenon bulbs, as to how good they really are at night.

what ive done dave is replaced side and headlight bulbs in my k7 ,the k6 is parked alongside it in the garage, when both are lit there is a definite difference between the two,the normal bulbs being an orangey colour, whereas the new bulbs are bright white.ive just put some xenon headlight bulbs in my 4x4 {ring brand}and at night there is no difference that I can see in length of beam or strength of light ,all they seem to have given is a whiter light  ,ive also changed the 2 sidelight bulbs and headlight bulb in my gsr 600 and I reckon it could be ridden just on the side light bulbs alone, led bulbs  were £3 a pair ,

Interesting - think I might try some of those Xenon bulbs then as sounds like they do the business. Cheers!!!!
