Drac

Good afternoon all
Firstly, thanks for accepting me.
I have just returned from my first proper ride out on my new to me 1400. All i can say is just wow!
Ive been off 2 wheels for 3yrs after owning a V Strom 650 for 6 years and using it as my commute, needless to say i basically ran it into the ground.
I always loved the GSX 1400 and after 3yrs of dreaming searching and more dreaming i finally took the plunge and purchased a very tidy K5 in Red n Black. This bike will be dry miles only. Ha
So now the good lady is insisting i take her out on it tomorrow, so hopefully we"ll get to some nice scenic place so i can take the usual photo of my bike with some hills behind.
I'm always up for meets as i was with the V-Strom and i shall undoubtedly be asking for loads of help and advice from you clever lot.
This machine is whole new beast to me compared to a 650 .
Again thanks and i"m looking forward to the community.

Bienvenue!  :8:  (again ;)  )

Look forward to the pickies!  Enjoy the machine, they're great. :boogie:
If you are going to run out of fuel, do it in your garage.

It's only a short walk to the kettle.

Welcome Drac - looking forward to seeing some pictures of your R&B!

The 14 is a great machine, very versatile, just be a bit gentle when pulling away as that torque can catch you out at first. But I think you'll enjoy your summer riding out!

Plenty of help and advice on here should you ever need it just ask away!

:welcome1:
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off
