Header Gaskets

Hi All

I have a Akrapovic 4 into 1 exhaust that I have been progressively polishing and have now come to the header pipes.

I'm assuming that the header gaskets will need replacing when I remove the down pipes, but just wanted to check.

I don't want to have any downtime on the bike so I'm going to get hold of the gaskets before I take the header pipes off, if they are required.

Any advice appreciated.

When it's a full Akrapovic:

Just unhook the springs - holding the headers - the headers will come off.

Normally the adapters from head to headers do no need to be removed so no need to do header gaskets.
