Well... just back from 200km run on the new Angel GT's (scrubbed in last weekend)....have to say the advice from you guys was sound!  Certainly better than the Bridgestone T30 evo... nicer to tip in to corners, very very stable and no tracking with road snakes or white lines... actually caught me by surprise cos I scuffed by boots a couple of times on some twisties I like close to home... must be getting braver  :rofl2:

Cheers for the advice lads  :onya:

grog

So glad you like them. Ive been telling exact what you said for 5 yrs now. I was amazed initially by turning in and no white line/ tar snake movement. Still love them. Wait until you see how they last, also amazing. Keep pressure up, they work better. 36/38 i use. Solo or two up but my mrs weighs nothing.

Grog.... had started out with 40 at rear... did'nt feel right... a bit 'skippy' if you know what I mean.   Dropped down to 38 and much much better.  Just goes to show how sensitive tyres are to the pressure/weight combination.   I am still a fat bas***d (thats what the wife calls me)... but clearly not as fat as some...  :whistling:

KiwiCol

Yeees, I hear ya!   I run mine at 40-42 rear & 38-39 on front, purely because my riding gear is so heavy!  :whistling:

A big heavy guy (like me) is going to have to run higher pressure in the tyres than a skinny sickly weed that's only 60Kg wringing wet.  :rofl2:

89 kg wet Col, fill out my 175 quite well. not a giant like you. sickly little weed, you can call me that.  :smitten: walked to school for 4 yrs with mate, 212cm, wonder how many extra steps i took compared to him.

A good mate of mine used to ride his push bike to our house and leave it there while we walked to school, on day it had rained and he was soaked so I leant him a pair of my school trousers but my mum had to put an 6" turn up on them first
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Good to hear ARH & always good to have more in the fan club  :onya:

Now I'm hearing the bloody sea level is rising....... so can all you over height fat bastards stop going swimming at the same time.  :stir:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Sweaty

BTW Col, I'm a skinny sickly weed + 21 kgs = 81kgs (so a thick sickly weed)  rear tyre at 38 psi or 40 with luggage on board for the weekends away.

KiwiCol

Grog & Sweaty, you can't be weeds if you're 81 & 89Kg.  I said 60Kg.  Actually Grog, at 89, you must have very dense bone mass.  :rofl2:

It think the last time I was 60kg wringing wet I was 18!   I'm a 'comforting, cuddly' 90kg at 180...  but I'm still a 'fb' to the missus....  what she hasn't realised is those bulges are actually muscle  :rofl2:

KiwiCol

Like any animal, we gotta have plenty of condition on to survive the winter.  I probably got enough condition on to survive a year of winter!  :rofl2:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Col, the "Donner Party" would have loved to have had you with them. Lots of calories for everyone :rofl2:
