No, it's bit to do with Notty, a bit to do with Froudy and is a little bit to do with sheep.  Apart from that I'm keeping shtum.   

Sheep are the most versatile animals you can find - eat them, wear them and shag them .. no waste !! and no not travelling to Scottish meet as 350 miles too far i think 

Too far? it's an easy day's ride! I went out for six hours today, spent two hours looking at old aircraft & still got 220miles done.

This is a get together not a chore if the weather isn't great it's not compulsory to go on the bike

I'll be booking the place so once I do it will need to be paid for even if folk can't make it .

I will be passing Carlisle but I will be taking the scenic route...Playing The tourist.. Simply because I am 

Plan is to arrive at Newcastle around 8ish in the morning. Got a route towards Newtonmore which should take about 9 hours

Ok slight change of accommodation as the other places I've been looking at are no longer available
So for 16 people (all in twin rooms) At the www.royaldunkeld.co.uk hotel we can get b&b for £1104
So including breakfast that works out at £69 each(£34.50 pppn) for the weekend of Friday 5th leaving on Sunday 6th .
It's a little further south than I was looking for but everything is still very accessible from dunkeld A9 and north A93 deeside and speyside via several routes.
I've booked the hotel so hope this is ok with everyone .
