Why not just go the whole hog (see what i did there ! ) and build the jack into the vehicle like they do with many race cars. One each side.

Well, if ya think about it, if it were like that & the bike was on it's side, the jacks would be pushing against nothing, cause they're sideways, not pointing down.

They could always put some outriggers on it & call it a truck?

Really I've seen a video on you tube of a smallish lady picking up a big Harley it's just about the technique you use .especially on a bike with big luggage as it's not over as far as a bike without any luggage.

More difficult if dropped on the lefthand side though as when you get it up (settle, Blubber!) you cant just roll it onto teh sidestand.

I saw a video (can't find it off hand) where a guy picked one up, rolled it over vertical and dropped in on the other side.

While surrounded by people watching on, and filmng,  but not helping....

I know that feeling, I lifted my bike up alone after a dog crash with three broken ribs four years ago..
People were just watching, not helping...  Idiots!!

last year i dropped my bike turning in bush track. went over a bank, turned and hit a 45 degree mud bank. bike rolled onto rhs. wifes leg was pinned under can, both wheels up in the air, tank at bottom, rhs bars embedded in dirt, a long way over. panic time. somehow i lifted it up for her to escape, then both of us, totally powerfull 45kg wife helping, we stood it up. it started , we rode a bit up the road to inspect damage. her leg took 3 mths to heal. soft mud saved my bike. mirror wrecked, engine cases scratched, front guard scratched, clutch cover and can scratched. dirt embedded in bag on back rack.most scratches polished out, vinyl wrapped fr. guard, new mirror. washed bag. amazing it never hurt bike, amazing her leg wasnt more damaged, but my point on this, how the hell did i pick bike up. wasnt a flat surface, 45 degree bank. adrenalin must kick in, no idea really. seems like something that would require triple my strength but i did it. still to me seems something i couldnt have done.

It must be adrenalin. I lifted my bike up with no (bigger) problem with broken ribs, but half an hour later when police came I couldn't  move my bike at all when they asked me to move it outside of the road. And those young policemen didn't help me.
