The STD Bars are like Plasticine, BUT.. I do have a OEM SET { If you want them} that have only done 4.7Km's... oh & they aren't bent.

Sounds like an option, although I suspect shipping from Oz to the UK might be a bit tasty. Please PM me and let me know how much you want for them.

I know it's boring, but I do like keeping it standard-ish.

Have a look at this photo I took today. If you line up the bars with the fork tops, you can see that the clamps are out of line. It's also noticeable on the top yoke - the clamps are nearer the front edge of the yoke on the right hand side.

I slackened it all off and brought it back more or less in line, but there's no doubt the bars are still bent. You don't need to measure it, you can see it easily enough by eye. A spirit level confirms, the grips are at different angles on each side.

So I think I'm going to do the Renthal thing.

I'd remove the clamps and check them out as they look like they might be bent as well.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I did, they're fine as far as I can tell. As they are just lumps of aluminium alloy I suspect they would crack before bending.

There is some kind of rubber bushing and cushion in the handle bar clamp set up .
So as the bars are bent i suspect thats whats making the clamps look out of line and hopefully all goes back straight when new bars are fitted .

Took the bars off today and measured them on a flat table.

Pullback: left 125mm, right 115mm
Rise: left 110mm, right 135mm

So they're definitely bent. I would say the bike has been dropped on its right hand side at some point in the past.
