Col, fleece off one of your girlfriends. I mean a sheepskin. Works for us, mrs even has two. Sheepskins that is. Warm, comfy, no sliding. I just sewd a couple of stretchy straps on, had same one for yrs. other option is the Airhawk seat. Never tried one but mates like them. Other option is post to Guzzler in Brisbane. Brilliant seat mine is but yeah, on long rides i still chuck baa lamb on.

KiwiCol

I could give that a try Grog, bit of fleece isn't that dear & as you say, sew a couple of straps onto it.

An idea just came to me, buy the gel insert for the seat, enclose it in a 'bag' & sew it on to the underside of the sheepskin!  That oughta fix things & not a grand spent either.

Done it. Just brought the gel insert for a seat (Large) & am biding on a sheepskin. All up under $150.  Cool.   Worth a crack anyway.

In the past I've used bubble wrap inside one of those drawstring bags, the strings go under the seat, works ok actually 👍

Total cost £4.99

You sure there's not a wee bit of Scot in you Red?

I'm not sure they make bubblewrap to take a load like me.    I'm not farting, it's the bubblewrap!   Honest.  Yeah, I can just see it now . . .

Oi!  Col.... what are you trying to say?

Paulpmy

I've got just the trick for ya ,

Them armbands we get when teaching our kids to swim are just the ticket

The are adjustable with the amount on air in them . But I can see problems with this great idea

And that is the more they sat on over time they lose the amount of air in then plus so hard to blow up while down your trousers

EXCEPT when your mrs is pillion

She could undue trousers drop to her knees and blow until the right amount of comfort is felt

If you take this option it's mandatory you take pictures and post them lol

KiwiCol

So what you're sayin is if the air ring goes down on me, I can get the mrs to give a quick blow till it feels better?  I reckon I already know what the answer to that would be . . .

She'd tell me to get a compressor.
