On eBay they come up you can get gel and heat in them

The MOT laws are changing soon, you might find your bike will fail as HIDs will be illegal on bikes, check with your local MOT workshop

MOT law is changing in May 2019 where HID will no longer go through an MOT due to it having no self levelling function on a motorbike however it has always been illegal to modify a standard headlight to HID. As is race cans and any tampering with number plates a case of you pay your money and take your chance. Till my MOT man fails it they will stay.

KiwiCol

Yep, I've seen them and would really like one myself, but to get it to nz, cost all up is over $1000 for a seat that may not fit just right. Don't want to pay that much without trying it first.

Paulpmy

From the standard seat they fit absolutely spot on no problems whatsoever

KiwiCol

It's not the fit on the bike I was referring to, it was if it fits to me.

If it helps I'm six foot two 31 inch leg

The standard oem seat is perfect for me

Put this on and it's just the same in height as standard one this one hugs you nicely tho

ARH

Maybe col was thinking more about his 'rear end' fitting in that seat  :happy1:

I do like it tho!  :onya:

KiwiCol

Correct ARH.  For the dosh it'd cost me to buy one of those bloody lovely seats, I'd still want to try it first.   a thousand bucks for a seat is fecken huge, worth it if it works good, not if I still get a sore ass after a few hours in the saddle.

Notty:  to send a mould that big would cost more than the bloody seat!   So no to that.

KF:  My ass is big enough already, (reason it gets sore sitting on it for hours) So no to that.

Seth:  Had a look at the link, yep they might do the trick.  I recall reading a pommy website that does gel seats for wheelchairs (I think it was wheelechairs) & they've branched out to selling foam for motorbike seats. They said you need 2cm foam or it's a waste of time, pressure points still occur with thinner foams as they can't disperse the load.

I may give these padded undies a try, but I'd rather the padding was in the bike seat, not my pants.
