Saw this DRZ400 advertised yesterday about a mile from home..Cheap and open to offers.
Had a look at it tonight, made an offer which the seller accepted and I'm picking it up tomorrow. It's a bit tatty, but sure I can sort it all out. Just need to get it fully road registered and then it's hooligan fun time :boogie:

I did think I was going to dislocate my new hip though as it's a very tall bike to mount :rofl2:

@seth

I think I'll need to make a small step so that I can get onto it...It'll be fun though.
I'll be looking for a nice cheap pair of 17" super moto wheels with road tyres. That'll lower it as well ;)

All your recent posts have been about your inability to get your leg over  :whistling: :lol:
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I did the Baja and Copper Canyon on one of those - came off a dozen times - great bike in the sand!

I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Nice one! :clapping:

I am always on the lookout here locally for something for the forest tracks. It would have been perfect this morning when 3 wild boar stepped out of the woods in front of me! :lowside:
If you are going to run out of fuel, do it in your garage.

It's only a short walk to the kettle.

Hit a minor snag yesterday when looking at some close up pics of the bike. I knew that at some stage the bike had been flipped over due to the tank filler cap being a bit bashed in..I didn't however spot that the subframe has cracked when I viewed the bike :rolleyes:
No great problem though as I know a very good ally welder in Bristol luckily.

Also check the frame under the rear fender - that is another place they fracture.
