The oil cooler leaked, found not much aftermarket oil cooler information. Finally ordered from HEL, find out the core part is made by Setrab. Here's some information for whom may interested.

I'm from Asia side so will concern about the shipping time and cost (If the company will ship internationally  :P) .
Yes the hoses were included as a set, it's in good finish quality.

seth

the hoses look great in black (i have black hoses and fittings on my AH cooler)

Thank you. Just a quick search and found it in Germany for 126 €. Adding the necessary items should still get me far below what I would have to pay for the Hel (410 € for the kit  :frustrated:).

However, if wanting to keep as close to original (which it is in my case) the Aaron would be it.

Radiator is not on my list but always good to be in the know.

However, a while back I was looking at replacing the original hoses/fittings to be able to get a setup that can be disconnected without having to repeatedly screw with the mounting to the engine. Request to Hel for just the hose/fitting kit Plus 2 additional 90° take off adapters. Never got a response though.

Now it looks like I found what I was looking for at https://www.ebay.de/usr/torques_uk?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 thanks to the mates here: http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=860.0

Woh that's expensive   is it cause by tax ? I got my HEL set at  £262.48 (no VAT, included shipping)
When I contact them, I use this :

their email seems not working  :whatever: :confused1:

344,50 € (305 £) without VAT (19%) but shipping included.

They adjust to where they are selling. Lots of cheap competitors in Asia.

I will not bother them again.  But then it might be fun to tell them to change their name from HEL to HELL.  :imrgreen: :stir:

HEL can be a little - how can I put it - sporadic on service and emails, it does vary as forum members over the last few years have discovered. Recent comments from members suggested that they had got past this, but it appears from your comments that this may not be 100% sorted yet, which is a shame as they are a nice helpful bunch of guys, but admin seems somehow beyond them at times.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Andre

Dave, my experience may or may not be representative for their usual service. May have been just a glitch. I am happy I appear to have choices when the time comes.

Installed the oil cooler today, it looks good to me. (maybe the hoses can shorten a bit when matching with the yoshimura now fitting)  :boogie2:

seth

looking good.
once the hoses are tidey it'll look ace.
are you changing the exhaust if so have a read through as much info as you can on removal the bolts are known to be toffee and very easily snapped .
good luck

The exhaust are already yoshi full system (stainless, when new it's in matt black  :smoke:). However every time when need to replace the oil filter, I have to detach the head pipes, the bolts are so far ok.  Thanks for your advice !  :hat:
