4day solo ride

Well, 1585 kms in 3 days of mainly really hot conditions and I have been giving it a bit. Think I will have a more leisurely 450km ride home in the morning, as the tyres are cooked.

They're my preference too, somewhere to sleep, eat & have a beer without needing to go out. Just love it.  Looks a nice old place too, no doubt it'll be recognised by other Aussie members.

I made a change to the ride below to add on some more kms and finish with a fast open sweeper type run.
So I turned off just before Towong and took Swampy creek Rd to Cabramurra & then the link rd to the Snowy mountains hwy, for a quick blast past Talbingo, Tumut & in to Adelong. 525kms of nice roads

Yesterday's heat was the worst Pete. It was like riding through a furnace for the last few hours on the Hume @ 41 degrees.
