The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Up until a few weeks ago I was commuting every day on mine - it was dark when I left and dark when I got home - bike was boggin

But won the raffle for a car parking space for 3 months under the office - would have been rude not too - so thats me set until the end of February

Things must be tough if the work raffle prize is a carpark for 3 months.

We're a bit spoilt here in that way I suppose, we'd actually expect there to be a car park for our vehicle whilst at work.  Inner city office jobs may be a bit different, but on the whole, we'd expect to have one supplied.

Lots of people here have to pay for a space to park at work, which kinda defeats the point of going to work for me.

Best keep that quiet Col,  think I prefer the Meat Raffle. :whistling:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Bike can get dirty if you use it! Keep on going! We have the same problem here.

Just remember when washing a bike covered in salt to wash al" the salt off using cold water first to get rid of all the salt then do a warm wash with suds.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Thats exactly what I do Dave.
large clods of salt fell off the front of the engine around the oil filter..
Then I use turtlewax car shampoo in hot water..
followed by a rub down with a large micro fiber towel...

Then I do the bike !!!

On a related note I was surprised at just how plastered my back was in Salt and road s#ite..
Remember mine has a standard rear fender..
It does seem to like to cover itself in muck.
if it was an animal it would be a hippo !!
