Hope all is well Froudy, not liking the sound of pain killers I didn't take any after leaving the Hospital u will find ways of doing various things good luck to ya!! If your end result is anything like mine its well worth everything  :boogie:

froudy

You must have a very high pain threshold Big Geordie.
I'm nearly two weeks post op now and I'm taking max dosage of Codeine and Paracetemol..It's still very feckin' sore.

Got my first physio appointment at 13:30 today..It's going to be fun and games just getting in the car to get there. Tried it once already and thought I'd dislocated the hip joint..I didn't half swear a lot

youre lucky mate, my mate wasnt allowed in car for 10 weeks. he was stuck home all that time.

froudy

That would drive me insane Grog, being cooped up in the house that long  :furious:

I had physio yesterday which went ok. I'm now only using one crutch to hobble around the house. Everything is just such hard bloody work though..Getting dressed etc.
The joint totally seizes up overnight and it takes a while for me to get mobile when I wake up. I guess it's early days though and it'll improve with time.
