"The Ginger One" ??

Anyone one here any idea how Mike "The Ginger One" is? I know he hasn't joined here, but he was a bit of a regular on the old org, but if anyone has heard from him or knows how he is, would be interested to find out, as last I heard he was still rebuilding his 14.

i bump into him every now and then as he lives not far from me .
he knows about here but said he's not bothered about joining here.
he still goes south to see some of the old org folk who also haven't joined here either.

I dont understand anyone who chose not to come here... OK i get loyalty i truly do.. But who and what are they being loyal too?? An admin who stole from the community? A failing site that wasnt fit for purpose? And whats wrong with here? The site works better than ever the old one did, the Admins are on top of everything 24/7, the knowledge base is fully up to scratch and the community of users is great.....

Remind me, what were there reasons again??

this is the 3rd org ive been on since 2002 and i think it's  the best not because of the obvious its great that we have top admin and the site is soo much more reliable but because its a whole world place filled with folk who like our bikes.
some will or have become friends but anyone from around the world can join in at any time.
as blubber said they may come back if they need something but we're already here living the dream.

I wasnt a big poster on the old org more research to see how too. There were a lot of posts about the issues folks had and about the admin not coming through and that did come across to someone reading as not the best - TBH I never had an issue on it except for some of the replies (not too me) that didn't come over well from someone with no experience asking questions

This place is a ray of sunshine - since its been running I've never noticed any nastiness - we all appear to be of a mature nature and willing to help - the banter is good with jibes where necessary but never seriously aimed

Its very easy to navigate with just enough thread names (if thats what you call them)
