Riding home early this morning after a twelve hour night shift.
Torrential rain and she cut out. 10a ignition fuse blown. As it was raining so hard it wasn't worth trying to sort by the roadside, so I called recovery and got taken home.
Grabbed a few hours sleep and will be out with test meter shortly.
Replaced fuse and it blows straight away. Clocks sweep and CHECK comes up.

Wish me luck!!

good luck buddy
hopefully it was just water in a connector I'd check all and give a spray with wd40 or the like and hope it all ok

Steve - have a good look around the ECU area - not unknown for water ingress around or into the ECU. Would also check all plugs under the LH side cover
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Thanks Dave :onya:

All sorted now....
All connectors pulled and checked. Fitted new fuse..Started ok..Ran for about 20 seconds and fuse blew again.
Tank off and spotted it straight away..Orange/white wire to R/H ignition coil was chaffed where it goes into main loom. When I rebuilt the bike earlier this year the loom routing obviously wasn't quite right and it chaffed through on the fuel pump housing. Solder/heat shrink, tape and wiring rerouted so it's not rubbing against anything...SORTED :onya:

I'm just relieved that it did it before I got on the motorway. Losing all power when in the fast lane wouldn't have been a pleasant or very safe experience.
At least it's all sorted now.
