A shame as a bit of a character, but I can understand why as his career has been a bit frustrating, and he's had his fair share of "off's" after all.

Plus he's getting quite a bit of TV work of late, so wonder whether that may not have been a criteria in his decision

Yep that last one I saw with him on the Honda that looked like maybe a false neutral at the pace they go he was positively white afterwards and may have had a little bit of wee come out of him me thinks. Good on him he has given us great value over the years. He should retire gracefully and accept all the plaudits he is due. Good luck for the future Guy
