As a lover of the 'stealth' look I always assume I've not been seen .

Red
Well, you would wouldn't you. You didn't go to all that trouble to create that stealth machine to be seen riding it!

Never heard that @seth but definetely true. Nothing faster than the Absolute Nothing. But I rather ride a bike than riding nothing. Maybe those owners of a black 14 are just imagining they are riding a bike.

I dont believe the colour of bike or even your gear has any influence on your chances of being in an accident, it's the way you drive that will determine how safe you are.

Red
For sure, color of the bike and gear, will not give you protection from bad luck, but if it increase your safety even for 1%, then it's better then it doesn't.

But maybe, I just do not like black, and finding excuses...

Andre

It would definitely add safety if bike and rider could change colors like a chameleon, just the opposite to the background. Would still not help with distracted (cellphones, etc) drivers though.

You're  blinded by prejudice Northern
😩
If you are in a car looking at a bike in your rear view mirror there is no way to see the colour of bike or jacket, all you see is a headlight.
Might as well pick the colour you like which should always be Black 👍

I agree with you on this, Red - from front side, color of the bike does not matter. But side is also important. And having some more visibility is better then having less...
Also - I was never thinking what using hi vis gear or bike will made riding totally safe from other road users. Possible, it will make riding little bit (tiny bit) safer. This is my position.

And, as I write earlier - I do not like black bikes. Sorry

Sweaty

That's enough of this sensible discussion
The poll has stated that everyone should have a B&W bike as it's the best, and there should not be any other colour choice for you rebels  :stir:  :whistling:  :happy1:

This is the beauty of our wold - everybody have a different taste
In the end, it does not matter, what color is the bike - feeling, it bring up in us, are. And those feelings are positive, so everything is perfect :)

Andre

NO, NO NOTHING IS PERFECT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel VERY discriminated against my silvery taste. It could have been lots worse as my previous 14 was of BEAUTIFUL blue color. How dare nobody voted for that  :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

oooops I didn't vote for that either. WHY DO I HAVE ONLY ONE VOTE? What an oppressive  administration here!!!!

Silver is good... My car is silver metallic. Diesel. Very practical.
