Rear Spring Issue

Is there any difference in the rear springs on the different models - Reason I as is my springs are tapered at the bottom and I have a set that I bought and they are parallel

i only thought it was the later ones were red not silver but i never noticed a taper on the springs between earlier and later models .

Just checked my K5 and the bottom last coil is smaller than those above - otherwise parallel

Don't have a picture about them, but K4 is also tapered.
