Having been on a diet with weight watchers ( a night out with 30 cuddly women and approved by mrs Notty !!! ) I have lost over 3 stone which means my Hood Kevlar jeans end up around my ankles when i get off my bike ( lost 4 inches of my waist and nothing else thankfully ! ) so to avoid the laughter I was going to order these for the summer as my Rukka trousers are much too warm -

Usually one does not congratulate on someone's loss. But in your case: CONGRATULATIONS!!!

And thank you for posting this. I was not aware that there was such a thing as Kevlar jeans. Got to look into these. Maybe get a Kevlar jeans jacket as well.

Gush, we just had 35 degrees. Dropped down to 25 and its going up over 30 again. Still another month before summer starts.

I wear RST jeans in summer. I got short legs but got them a bit longer as i like it that they dont ride up when knees are bent sitting on the bike.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Hi Notty,
I've found your 3 stone and probably need a bigger pair of trousers.

My first pair of Kevlar trousers 3 years ago were Bull-it but they were the black drill cotton Kevlar ones, I really liked them but after about a year they went badly out of shape, the waist ended up too loose and the legs shunk about 4inches or so - there is a
warning not to wash above 30deg C which I don't think I did but I can't be sure.

I ended up buying some Black Armour Kevlar jeans from Aussie ebay which have worn well but the seller doesn't seem to stock male Kevlar jeans anymore which is a pity, they were well priced and although I haven't crash tested them appeared well built.

I'm not sure if you can go to a bike store and try some different brands on - the fit changes a fair bit from different suppliers, you might get caught out buying off a size.

Cheers,
Rick

They arrived this morning having only ordered yesterday at 4pm with free delivery and some £50 cheaper than my local dealer !!. And they FIT !! gone from a 38 waist to a 34 - seem well made but guess not the sort of product you ever want to try out !  :smile2:

While attending the Ulysses AGM in Alice Springs in 2014 we made the move to Draggin Jeans. Draggin were traders at the AGM and had really good discounts for the AGM. We have both been in leather for years and now that I have the GSX (with a little less leg room) I can say they are very comfortable - will be great for our upcoming 10000km trip to Darwin and return.
