Very nice,  :onya: but I've had many triumphs & that looks like a 1964 to me, earlier than that had the 'full' bathtub rear enclosure, also, it might be a 'bitza' as they never had twin-leading shoe front brakes.

I've recently finished a 77 Bonneville full nut & bolt restoration.
I DO have to grow old, I DO NOT have to grow up.

very nice looking Bonneville :onya:

and you are correct the front brake is not original, yes the bikini bath tub is from a 64 also i don't think the colour is correct but the rest of the bike is 58. luckily i am not a rivet counter i like it as it is. :)

Definitely maybe

Sorry if I came across as a rivet-counter, that was not the intention, but hey, we ARE rivet counters really aren't we, as we ALL tend to notice subtle little 'differences' on our 1400s!! :cheesy:

I also agree with you, I prefer  the rear cover, LOVE the brake & the colour is better than the original maroon.

Text can be misunderstood, i also did not mean to imply you were a rivet counter, just stating i am not, i believe modifications have always been part of the biking scene.
Definitely maybe
